Having worked as a guide and skipper on red sea liveaboards from 1992 - 2000 Harry has a vast knowledge of the Red Sea's wrecks and reefs which can only be built up over many years of working in the industry from the bottom up. Having lived and worked in the Sinai for over 15 years he has an intricate knowledge of recreational and technical dive sites.
“I have had the opportunity to watch Harry both in a classroom environment and in water and regard him as one of the most thorough and professional diving instructors it has been my pleasure to know.
Harry's ability to communicate concepts in a teaching environment is first rate . His water skills are exemplary.
On top of that Harry is great company.
I would had no hesitation in recommending Harry.” January 15, 2012

I completed my Advanced Trimix course with Harry Hayward last year in Dahab and would definately recomend both TDI and Harry to progress as a technical diver. He not only is an expert in his field, he is a great teacher and explained the trickier aspects of adv trimix to me easily. It was a challenging and tough course however Harry kept it fun and i look forward to becoming a technical instructor with him soon.

I have done a few TDI courses over the last couple of years. From Deco Procedures to Adv Trimix my instructor has been Harry Hayward in Dahab, South Sinai, Egypt. He made me feel relaxed both in and out of the water whilst also being one of the toughest instructors I have met. The standard of diving and theoretical knowledge he insists you attain are what keep you safe when diving and give you such a great sense of achievement when you complete the course. I have no hesitation in recommending Harry and TDI to anyone wanting to do a diving course, either recreational or technical.

As an open water instructor who's learned from the best, I consider myself lucky to have been taught by Harry Hayward from Red Sea Technical. I did Adv. Nitrox all the way through ER and Trimix in Dahab with Harry and he is seriously the single best instructor I've ever had. His lasting passion combined with his extensive experience in technical diving is what makes his instruction so great. Whether it was theory, equipment configuration, or the dives, Harry was extremely thorough and his attention to detail was incredible. When I have the opportunity to become a technical instructor myself, I plan to seek Harry again for instructor training! Thanks again. Elliott Jessup

“Harry was the guy who convinced me to do my PADI Divemaster course when we lived in Dahab, Egypt. He was a consummate professional and knew more about the subjects than anyone else I knew or have met since.” February 21, 2011

Richard Adams hired Harry as a Diving Instructor in 2002
“Over the last ten years I have had the pleasure of assisting Harry in many different capacities. His knowledge and experience of SCUBA diving, sub-aquatic environments and safety awareness make him a key asset on every operation . His expertise is only equaled by his personability.” January 19, 2010

I completed my PADI open water and advanced courses with Harry and later went on to complete my TDI nitrox and advanced nitrox courses with him in the Red Sea. As a health and safety trainer I was very impressed with Harrys teaching and in water safety. Nothing was left to chance and if I take any further courses in the future I will be seeking out Harry for that training. Thanks very much!
